7th Grade Immunizations
The Ohio Dept. of Health has also added an additional immunization ( a total of 2 shots) for students entering the 7th grade. Currently your child is required to get a Tdap shot (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pe1tussis) to begin their 7th grade year. Also in addition, your child will need a Meningococcal vaccine (meningitis). A second dose of Meningococcal vaccine will be needed before their 12th grade school year. This second dose of the Meningococcal will be given after age 16.
