Do you know what a MINDSET is?  It is a habitual or mental attitude that determines how you will interpret and respond to situations. What is your MINDSET for this week?  How can you change one thing to be more positive?

 

You can order your GMS yearbook online.  Check out the school’s website or the school’s FB page for the link.  They are $16 dollars.  Don’t miss out! You have until Tues., April 16th.  Time is running out.

If you are starting to think about a summer job make sure you check out the job board outside the guidance office. We will be adding summer job opportunities from now until the end of the year.

 

The Sophomore Class is holding a garage sale!  Sophomore students who wish to work a shift at the garage sale should sign up on the clipboard in the WIN room or see one of your class officers.  

 

 

Senior Athletes - please pick up a Smithville senior athletics form from the office and complete it by April 30th. This form is used to determine end-of-year awards. 

 

Mentors Action Team is in need of empty pringles cans. We are down to needing 65, keep bringing them in. Please put them in the back of Mrs. Lightfoot’s room.  Mentors will meet next Monday during WIN for the last prep meeting.  This one is important because we will be organizing pictures and prepping for the last meeting on Monday May 6th. Thanks!

 

Attention Seniors- Graduation Applications and Senior Banquet RSVPs are due today, Wednesday, April 24th to the main office. Forms are available in the April Parent Letter sent via Parent Square.

 

 

This announcement is for junior members of National Honor Society: If you are interested in applying to be an officer for NHS next year, please see Mrs. Howie to pick up an officer application. Applications are due on May 17th and elections will be held the week of May 20th.
