FALL 2010 – 2011
Counseling News
I want to welcome all of you to the 2010-2011 school year at Marshallville Elementary School. This will be an exciting new year with most of our kindergarten students attending all day! We also want to welcome the students in the Multiple Categories Classroom to our school. For those who are parents of new students, we know that you will find MES a welcoming community for your students.
I will continue to be at MES on Tuesdays and Thursdays and on other days for special activities. Please feel free to contact me at either MES, 330-855-2471 or at SES, 330-669-3501. I can also be reached at my e-mail, gren_gresser@tccsa.net on any day of the week.
Please be looking for information in the next few weeks about the small group opportunities that will be available for students to participate in this year.
Most of you likely spent a lot of time the past few weeks, shopping for school supplies and getting ready for the new year to begin! In the Sunday, August 22nd edition of The Daily Record, a column appeared by Sharon Randall, titled, “What does it really take to be ready for school?” I thought that there was some valuable teaching for life in this article. I have received Ms. Randall’s permission to share this information with you. I hope that there will be something that each of you can take from the article to help make it a great school year for your child! Please click on the link below to read the article. I hope that there will be something that each of you can take from the article to help make it a great school year for your child!
