The Superintendent is responsible for the administration of the school system. The Superintendent is the executive agent of the Board of Education, educational leader of the school system, accountable officer for all school personnel, and the liaison agent between personnel and the Board. The Superintendent shall strive to implement the policies of the School Board, initiate ideas and at the same time be sensitive to the needs of the personnel. The Superintendent is the person with whom the Board is directly involved regarding appointments of personnel.
